About Me

Maths and science were never my strongest suits. Time after time, exam after exam, I would make silly mistakes, which all added up to cost me many marks in exams. I hated seeing “NO!” and “Careless” written all over my exam scripts in bright red ink. I never got a HD grade in maths in Years 7, 8 and 9.

Fast-forward to my HSC year, and I managed to achieve top bands in all my maths and science subjects, and an ATAR of 99.95. I’m now studying the Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney – a degree that seemed out of my reach just a couple of years ago.

Clearly, something changed. In my case, it was one key realisation:

In all aspects of life, you have to hold yourself accountable. In the context of the HSC, it means doing practice questions and taking on feedback, as well as being honest with the feedback you give yourself to make sure you stay on top of your course content. That’s how your understanding can go from solid to watertight, to help you stop wasting marks.

But that’s not easy – it wasn’t easy for me. So there should be somebody available that can both support you, but also hold you accountable.

That’s where I can help!

I’ll be providing practice questions and giving not formulaic answers, but intuitive explanations, in a way you can not only remember but internalise, like second nature. In these ways, I’ll help keep you on your toes.

But I’ll also be available for you to ask questions – within and outside class hours, and by phone, email or text. In this way, I’ll ensure you’re supported.

I look forward to seeing you succeed on your HSC journey!
